World AIDS Day 2016

1st December is World AIDS Day and while our projects were ongoing with many, such as our Quilt Group, taking the opportunity to mark the occasion, ACET Ireland CEO Richard Carson was busy traversing Dublin at various functions and events. First stop was the Mansion House on Dawson Street where the Lord Mayor, Cllr. Brendan Carr greeted representatives from a wide range of agencies working locally and globally in response to the pandemic. IMG_8734

Next stop was Cental Park on the Green Luas Line where Salesforce played host to Richard for a conversation on HIV in Ireland and beyond. ACET has been a Salesforce user for almost a decade and we are looking forward to receiving some of their staff as volunteers as we upgrade our systems. red salesforce Dublin

Finally it was over to Glasnevin for a beautiful interfaith memorial service hosted by the Dublin City University chaplains, including former ACET team member, Philip McKinley. IMG_8742
